  10. Describe the goals of the activity
    • To provide communications between staging area, parking and practice areas
    • To coordinate staging area to get bands in and out quickly
    • Park busses to facilitate quick entry and exit form the area
    • Have fun

  11. Did the event fulfill the goals?
    • Yes

  12. Explain:
    • The coordination between the two main positions (the upper parking lot and the staging area) went very well.

  13. What went well?
    • All of our operators used good protocol in getting their traffic passed.
    • The operators particularly liked being more involved with the show rather than "just" passing traffic for another official.

  14. Areas needing improvement
    • We could however use more hams in this event. Unfortunately this event starts when most are at work.

  15. Lessons learned
    • Even though the area covered was relatively small, this event required the use of a cross-band repeater. This was because of the staging area being in a valley and a large building between the two areas. The cross-band repeater also allowed us to use lower power to conserve battery power.

  16. Additional training needed
    • No info provided.

  17. General comments
    • No info provided.

  18. Ideas for future exercises
    • For future events it may be possible to use packet to log the bands in as they arrive.
