- Did the event fulfill the goals?
-
Yes.
-
Explain:
audieo and video went well with ony one minor hitch and thqt being
that the location of the JIC was changed without prior knowledge
of the location and the video from there was not possible due to
two foot thick walls made of steel. however we taped the conference
and relayed it to the eoc.
- What went well
-
considering that was only a table top exercise this year i believe
that for the most part all went well.
- Areas needing improvement
-
more familiarity with our new video equipment will certainly help
and getting the video repeater will not hurt that situation at all.
- Lessons learned
-
be prepared for tha worst, and presume that it will happen.
- Additional training needed
-
more time training people for the eoc part of the plan. that has
now been accomplished with a monthly equipment routine/training
session scheduled for the fourth saturday of every month.
- General comments
-
looking back on the first csepp drill that i dealt with in 1996 as
ec we have gone from a some what who cares that you are here to a
will you play and by the way what would like to do attitude. the
director of the eoc and myself have developed a relationship between
us that is one of mutual respect. we both full well understnd our
respective places in the grand scheme of the emergency environment
and know that we can depend on each other for mutual cooperation
without having to question what is going on.
