Y

Explain:

This exercise was scaled down to primarily show how various agencies can work togather in the EOC and field. D11 ARES provided suplimental communication between all sites, passing voice, packet and video traffic.

What went well?:

The deployment went as planned and all objectives were met.

Areas needing improvement:

This was the first time that many of the agencies participating had all been in the EOC at the same time. There was considerable confusion about how to coordinate this many agencies.

Lessons Learned:

Being able to move certain operations (such as packet)out of the EOC, (due to space limitations and general confusion) was a great help. ATV helped many agencies see what was actually going on in the field.
Headphones are a must!
Extra people help both in the field and EOC.

Additional Training needed:

We need to get more of our members to have experience in the EOC equipment set up and operation.

Ideas for future exercises:

Comments:

This was a great exercise and involved many agencies.
